2 Months In This Place Already!

What a sweet sweet boy we have. Even when he's letting us know how he really feels, I can't help but smile. He has started cooing and "laughing". He has even surprised himself with the noises he makes.
He loves hanging out with his daddy. They cleaned the garage together last night. As long as Daddy holds him football style (face down) he thinks life is pretty grand.
He has also taking a liking to ceiling fans, going for walks in the neighborhood, and the sound of the hairdryer. Yes...my hairdryer has an almost hypnotic effect. I discovered it one day when I put him down in his cradle (right outside our bathroom) and started to dry my hair. Within seconds he was sound asleep. A coincidence one might think, but the next day after trying what seemed like everything to get him to sleep...the blow dryer came to mind. And at that point I would have tried just about anything :) Sure enough I stood there for about 3 or 4 minutes and he was out. Keep in mind we have a small table fan running in there so there is some white noise in the room already. If it works for him, it works for me :)
In all the chaos the last couple of months we found some time to go to the Children's Museum last weekend. The kids had a blast and Beckett was a trooper. It went much better than we could have hoped... so State Fair he we come!
