Raegan gets her ears pierced!

Sunday Raegan came to me and said she was ready to get her ears pierced. We had this discussion a few months ago and she decided to wait (I told her that it was going to hurt). I brushed her off at first and she insisted that she was ready. After a lengthy discussion of how it was going to feel and what it entailed we ventured to the mall. She hopped right up in the chair , picked out her earrings and didn't look back. No hesistation, no tears, not a peep. I was actually quite surprised. She even walked out smiling!
I guess the lesson I should take from this is when Raegan is ready... she is ready. But then again she has been that way from the moment she was conceived :)
