Finally....an update!

Yes, I know. What could I possibly be doing that has taken up soooo much of my time. 2 Months and not a single update!! I could bore you with all the details of my day to day life of having a teenager and three under 5...but I think most of you know EXACTLY what I am talking about!
In a nut shell the last two months have consisted of an assortment of fun and not so fun events.

We were fortunate enough to spend a little time with EVERYONE at Christmas! My Mom and Les, Troy, Mark, Adam and Anne all got in on the festivities Chistmas Eve at our house. Adam and Anne were even brave enough to come back Christmas morning for brunch! We then packed up everything AND the kitchen sink and headed up North. We spent 5 days hopping houses and packing, unpacking and repacking! I know, you are green with envy. We had a wonderful time and realized we do not get up there nearly enough. The kids tried ice fishing for the first time (but only after I told my Dad he needed recut the holes if they were to big)I am my mother's daughter after all! The scenerio that kept playing back in my head was my 40 pound "babies" bobbing up and down in the icy cold water! Yep, I know. Highly unlikely...but like I said... my mother's daughter!

January consisted of a very large snowman, a sledding adventure, a trip to Camp Snoopy at the Mall of America, build a bear workshop and Rainforest cafe. The kids also got to see Frog and Toad at the Children's Theatre.
An Exciting month...but not nearly as exciting as February turned out to be!

We went into February with A LOT of bugs! Walker was under the weather for a couple of weeks with a bad cold that exacerbated his asthma and Beckett had RSV. Just when things were starting to look up...I took Raegan in after a night of restless sleep and a fever. The poor girl had STREP, PINK EYE and a RUPTERED EARDRUM. After everyone was done with antibitics and feeling well, Daddy decided he needed to get in on the action! One ER trip and an appendectomy later we are all at home safe and sound with just the run of the mill snotty noses.
Oh yeah, Raegan and Walker also started swimming lessons, Alex turned 17 (and he made the A honor roll), Raegan had her first sleepover (and then a second because it was so much fun), Beckett started sitting up, pulling himself up, crawling, and has sprouted a couple more teeth (7 total for all of you that are counting)!
We are all hoping March will not be quite as busy! It will be nice to have a little break before spring officially arrives. Raegan is talking gymnastics/dance and Walker is thinking T-Ball would be fun!

Wow!! See what happens when you wait for two months to update--it's a little overwhelming! Your kids look great and are growing so quickly. I didn't realize poor Dave ended up in the hospital....Cripes! Here's to a calmer spring! :)
