Sleep...who needs it!!

So the past week or so we have resorted to "sleep training" for our not so cooperative 9 month old. If he could talk, it would go something like..."Nap? Who needs a nap?? I'm not tired...I always rub my eyes and pull at my ears when I am not tired." And night time was even worse...2-3 times a night still at 9 months and 22 pounds!! I guess I was spoiled by Raegan and Walker who were both sleeping through the night at 2-3 months! Nap time is actually pretty funny. After I lay him down sing a song or two and rub his back for a few seconds he promptly sits himself up and starts fussing. I exit the room and watch from the door. He puts his face up towards the ceiling and does this really sad cry. Not a mad scream just a pathetic tired cry. And then he starts falling asleep while he is sitting up in between cries. And then eventually he just falls over. (I am working on the video to post) The other day I had to snap this picture before I moved him to a more comfortable/safer position (and took off the bumper when he woke up!). We are still working on naptime but I can report that night time is much better. He has been waking up one time, crying for less than a minute and then going back to sleep until 5:30 or 6:00!
