A little behind these days. But better late than never.
It is hard to believe our "baby" is 6. She has come such a long way in her short six years. She is what I would call a spirited girl. An old soul with a heart the size of Texas.
She is passionate, curious, confident, strong, nurturing and very sensitive. I have never met a little girl so sure of where she is going...and you had better get out of her way. The drama is pretty much non stop. Both the good drama and the bad drama. I swear she will be up for an Oscar someday! The "bad" has gotten her in a lot of trouble this past year, but lately it seems she is getting a handle on it fairly quickly. She almost always apologizes without having to be asked and she has even stopped herself and asked if we can start over. For instance the other day I popped my head into the playroom and asked her to feed Macy. She snapped back at me with some rude "I'm busy I don't want to" comment and before I could respond she said, "Mom, let's start over. Ask me again." She even wanted me to go out of the playroom and pop my head in the door again! The second time I got a smile and a "sure mom". I was pretty impressed. I share this story because for those of you who know Raegan well, you know that she is just such a ball of emotion. The extremes come at the drop of a hat. I can only imagine what we are in for when she is 14! I'm sure there will be no lack of foot stomping and eye rolling.
I can't wait to see what the next 6 years bring. The first 6 have been amazing! What a ride you have taken us on!

Happy 6th Birthday Rae Shae!
Your Daddy and I have loved you since you were merely a glimmer in our high school heart's. Little did we know how much it would take to get you here. But then again you have had your own agenda from the beginning :)
