Too Fast!

Glad I had taken the picture before cake time!
(It fell over while we were singing Happy Birthday)


I can't believe it has been a year! Everyday with Beckett has brought us more laughter and smiles than I could have ever imagined. He is sensitive, funny, determined and has a bit of a mischievious streak in him...and he LOVES to snuggle! Just today he was resting his head on my shoulder as I was rocking back and forth with him before nap. He kept lifting his head up and turning it toward me for another kiss. He did it about 15 times, each time getting sleepier and sleepier until he could barely lift his head off my shoulder. Hopefully he will always be a snuggler :)

In honor of his special day we had a meal of his favorite things...chicken, pineapple, asparagus and bread. After dinner we all gorged ourselves on cake and ice cream and called it a night.
